Alex Peets leads Stepwise Financial as President. He’s a Partner of HBW Advisory LLC firm. A decorated veteran, Alex's journey is marked by his service as a Chinook Helicopter Crew Chief in the US Army, with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. He honed his leadership by training soldiers in tactical operations with C.A.C.I. and General Dynamics Technology.
Transitioning from the military to academia, Alex earned his MBA from Methodist University in 2012, igniting his finance journey. He first delved into personal finance in 2004 through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, sparking a lifelong passion for financial education.
Since joining HBW Partners and the SmartVestor Pro Team in 2012, Alex has dedicated his career to crafting personalized retirement and financial strategies, empowering clients toward financial independence. His expertise as an independent advisor allows him to offer a breadth of options tailored to each client's unique journey.
Alex resides in Richmond, Virginia where he enjoys life with his wife, Stacey, and their son. They have two older daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren in Texas.
